Total Golf Game Management
'Playing the game of golf is fun...and challenging'. Our experience with the game is most rewarding when we are playing at our best. But what happens when we are not playing our best? Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that this is fun...right?... Right! Sometimes, it's at this point that we will make a decision. We will decide that it is fun to play the way that we are and this is perfectly fine, or we will decide to improve the way that we play. Either way the decision is right...either way we have chosen a 'path'.
"To play our best we just need to 'let-go' and swing away!"
In order to do this requires 'trust'. To develop trust in our process is the goal when it comes to game improvement. To build trust in our playing ability we need to understand a few things that have to do with:
1- Our clubs (mechanical)
2- Our bodies (physical)
3- Our minds (tactical)
'The Path' to your game improvement will keep you directed, it will keep you thinking about what is essential, and most importantly, it will keep you having fun with the game!

'DSP'
If you have ever struck a golf shot 'Dead Solid Perfect' then you understand the real attraction the game has over folks. (DSP might just be a close cousin to ESP in terms of magical power...if you have felt it...you understand).

Depending upon your 'game improvement needs'... you 'have-to' have a plan.
Level-1 / Level-2 / Level-3
-
Level 1 practice is for individuals who have trouble hitting a solid golf shot. Folks new to the game will learn about and develop 'Core Swing Mechanics'. Also, veteran players who are having trouble hitting solid golf shots will review their swing mechanics. Swing Mechanics have to do with what is absolutely necessary to hit a solid golf shot. Level 1 mechanics require that we 1- create the 'angle', 2- move the angle through an acceptable 'swingpath' and, 3- release the angle.
-
Level 2 practice is for golfers who can hit 'solid golf shots' but have trouble controlling the direction their ball flies. At this level practice is related to core swing mechanics in addition to furthur developing 'how the body supports the swinging action'. Good 'Physical Rhythm & Timing' is what becomes necessary for a good shot to occur (again...getting the body to better support the basic swinging action). Also, at this level we will work on the basic fundamentals of scoring...short-game!
-
Level 3 practice has to do with the process of 'BLENDING' and is absolutely necessary for veteran golfers and 'tournament level players' who are looking to furthur improve the way they play. At this level we will continue validating all the above (at a deeper level, "the saw will continue to need sharpening"). Most importantly however, is the need to develop the 'Tactical' skills necessary for getting the most out of our games. If you are going to be a true competitor... you 'have-to' prepare yourself mechanically / physically / and, most importantly...tactically!
This approach to 'game development' does not 'classify' golfers. The best players in the world will continue to validate their 'core swing mechanics' found at level 1 just as folks new to the game will begin planting seeds that will build a stronger 'belief system'!
(A sample of Level 1 work, the 'angle' set, impact. and forearm 'release'. If you look no furthur...learn to do this!)
TGM Golf - The most important Mechanical movement in the swing is the 'Release-Action' of your arms through impact! (learn more about the 'release-action' in that chapter).

1- Mechanical: It's about Your club...the tool
2- Physical: It's about Your body...rhythm / timing
3-Tactical: It's about Your mind...thoughts / processes
Genuinely improving the way we play the game of golf can be a real challenge. Whatever level of player you are, from beginner to highly skilled, there will be certain aspects of your 'playing process' that need to be developed. Knowing what aspects need attention and how to best develop them is your key to improvement.
TGM Golf - To get YOUR MIND...YOUR BODY...and THE CLUB working together in a 'smoothly blended process' is the GOAL when it comes to building 'trust' in the way you play.
To do this you have to be on a PATH, you have to know where you are going and what it takes to get there. As part of the TGM Golf approach you will:
